Membership is open to all who subscribe to our Memorandum and Articles of Association.

To be a full member you need to:

  • Reside in Gartcosh or Mount Ellen (our bonded area)
  • Be 16 years old or over
  • Entitled to vote at a local government election in a polling district that includes the Community or part of it.
  • Support the aims, objectives, and activities of Gartcosh Development Trust Limited

Being a member allows you voting rights at our AGM and the opportunity to sit on the organisation's Board.

Live outside Gartcosh and Mount Ellen? You're still very welcome — you can join as an Associate Member. Associate Members support the Trust and can take part in our events and activities, but aren't eligible to vote at general meetings or to stand for election to the Board.

We also offer a junior membership for 12 - 15 year olds
